It is with deep sorrow that we inform you of the passing of our esteemed Prof. Enes Kanlić MD, who died at the age of 73.

“Women in Medicine – Empowerment & Balance” is one of the key events of this year’s 16th Annual Conference of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences (BHAAAS). The panel discussion, dedicated to the role, challenges, and significance of women in modern medicine and science, will take place on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 6:00 PM at Hotel Holiday in Sarajevo.
Sarajevo will host the 5th International Ophthalmology Symposium titled “Cornea, Ocular Surface and Refractive Surgery” on June 21–22, 2025. The symposium is organized in collaboration with the Turkish Ophthalmological Association (TOA) and offers a rich educational program featuring six speakers from TOA’s Cornea and Ocular Surface Section.
