The presence of leading experts and researchers from around the world who shared the latest knowledge and research, with the support of our partners contributed to the quality of the content of the 15th Day of BHAAAS.
The first nine-month mentorship program of the Bosnian Herzegovinian-American Academy of Sciences and Arts (BHAAAS) for medical students ended in June, and included 15 students from five different faculties in Bosnia and Herzegovina whosuccessfully completed the program.
Asim Haračić, MD psychiatrist, clinical director of the psychiatry department at Providence Hospital, Washington, DC, member of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian-American Academy of Sciences and Arts, recently appeared as a guest on Bosanski vestnik on FACE TV and talked about the ever-current topic of PTSD.
With the aim of improving education and easier access to knowledge in the local community, the youth organization BHAYA, the Bosnian-Herzegovinian-American youth academy operating within the framework of BHAAAS, donated books that will significantly complement the library fund in two high schools in Breza. These are books that are part of the regular reading at the Mixed High School "Mehmedalija Mak Dizdar" and the Gymnasium "Muhsin Rizvić".
