Gordan Srkalović, former president of BHAAAS, winner of the prestigious international award Castleman Warrior – Researcher of the Year

Gordan Srkalović, M.D., Ph.D., former president of BHAAAS and current member of the Advisory Council of BHAAAS, and member of ANUBiH, is the recipient of the prestigious international award Castleman Warrior – Researcher of the Year, awarded by the Castleman Disease Collaborative Network. This award is given to scientists who have made an outstanding contribution to the understanding, diagnosis and treatment of Castleman's disease - a rare and complex disorder of the immune system.

Dr. Mahira Tanović Appointed President of the National Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Mahira Tanović, MD, FACS, a plastic and reconstructive surgeon with more than twenty years of professional experience in New York. She is a member and former President of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences (BHAAAS) and has been appointed President of the National Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a professional organization operating at the national level.
