For sixteen years, the Days of BHAAAS have been a substantial, high-quality, and successful conference.
Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences was founded in Charlotte, North Carolina, on November 3, 2007.
The second day of the 17th BHAAAS began with the International Cardiology Symposium, which brought together leading experts from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the region and the world with the aim of exchanging knowledge and improving modern approaches in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
The Computer Science and Information Technologies Student Symposium at the 17th BHAAAS Days brought together final year students of ICT studies who had the opportunity to present their work to an international academic and professional audience.
The Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence Symposium brought together researchers, experts and academic professionals interested in the latest developments in computing, machine learning and artificial intelligence at the 17th BHAAAS Days.
In the ceremonial atmosphere of Hotel Holiday, the 17th BHAAAS Days were officially opened this evening, marking one of the most important scientific and professional gatherings of Bosnian-Herzegovinian experts from the country and the diaspora. The event brought together numerous friends and partners of BHAAAS, representatives of the academic community, healthcare sector, government institutions, international organizations, and distinguished guests from Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad.
BHAAAS Days are the most important activity organized by the Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
Over the years, BHAAAS Days have grown into a respected international conference.
Over the past 16 years, this event has brought together more than 1,000 participants from 30 countries through numerous symposiums, special events, and a dedicated student program.
BHAAAS Days are a platform for networking, unforgettable encounters, and the exchange of ideas between local and international experts from various fields of science and art.
After 16 successful conferences, BHAAAS proudly continues building bridges between the homeland and the world.

Carolyn Dorfman Dance presents Prologue: A Dance of Hope - The Story of Max Heller, a powerful fusion of dance, music, and theater. Featuring electroacoustic compositions by Sarajevo-born composer Svjetlana Bukvich and Bosnian singer Davor Ebner, this project is a cultural bridge between BiH and its US diaspora. Premiering in January 2025, it honors Heller’s legacy as a Holocaust survivor, immigrant, and trailblazing mayor who fought segregation in Greenville, South Carolina.
