BHAAAS President Dr. Adnan Begović to Deliver Guest Lectures at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Sarajevo

As part of the program “Transfer of Knowledge from Diaspora Experts to Bosnia and Herzegovina”, organized by the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of BiH, the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Sarajevo will host Prof. Dr. Adnan Begović, a specialist in intensive care and pulmonary diseases, and the current President of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences (BHAAAS).

On Saturday, October 25, 2025, the Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences (BHAAAS) organized a panel discussion titled “Synthetic Child Pornography and Violence Against Children in Online Spaces” at the Human Rights House in Banja Luka.

Published Medical Abstracts from the 16th Days of BHAAAS in Sarajevo

The Book of Abstracts has been published as a supplement of the “Medical Journal of the University Clinical Center Sarajevo (KCUS)”, continuing the collaboration between BHAAAS and KCUS in promoting scientific research and the exchange of professional knowledge in the field of medicine.

Public Online Lecture by Prof. Dr. Kenan Arnautović on Hemangioblastomas of the Central Nervous System

On October 15, 2025, at 12:00 PM, the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ANUBiH) organized a public online lecture via the Zoom platform, delivered by Prof. Dr. Kenan Arnautović, Professor of Neurosurgery at the Semmes-Murphey Clinic and the Department of Neurosurgery, University of Tennessee, Memphis, USA.

Carolyn Dorfman Dance presents Prologue: A Dance of Hope - The Story of Max Heller, a powerful fusion of dance, music, and theater. Featuring electroacoustic compositions by Sarajevo-born composer Svjetlana Bukvich and Bosnian singer Davor Ebner, this project is a cultural bridge between BiH and its US diaspora.
