Signed Agreement With Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy Of Arts And Sciences

International Burch University has signed an agreement with the Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences (BHAAAS), which will further develop existing relations in the sphere of scientific cooperation and develop new relations on the principle of mutual benefit.

BHAAAS is a voluntary non-profit, non-governmental, non-partisan, multi-ethnic and multi-cultural organization, whose purposes are exclusively educational, scientific and charitable. It was founded with the goal of providing links between Bosnian-Herzegovinian scientists, artists, and professionals in North America and building bridges of cooperation with the homeland.

Within the framework of the signed agreement, IBU and BHAAAS agreed to organize conferences, symposia, seminars, and workshops, as well as to apply for social, educational and cultural-thematic projects. This is important from an academic and educational aspect, not just for joint projects.

The significance of the signed agreement will contribute to the development of a relatively new approach to learning the so-called STEM, both at the IBU and in the whole country. This process of learning is best accessed by combining several scientific disciplines. Visualization of scientific phenomena, for example, enables easier acquisition of knowledge and a deeper understanding of the scientific process. “STEM” precisely refers to the key subjects of its study, “Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics”.

BHAAAS and IBU will jointly work with PhD candidates, while BHAAAS will give special support to IBU in a unified mission of the entrepreneurial university, by mentoring the Start-Up ideas derived from the StartUp incubator project.
