    Lecturer: Lejla Kafedžić, Ph.D.
Moderator: Ljiljana DukanovićInclusion is an approach to education and society that is based on human rights and which recognizes that every person has the right to a dignified life in all segments, regardless of their characteristics. Realization of the right to education is a prerequisite for enjoying many other rights, but also a prerequisite for improving the quality of life of all. Inclusion in education is key to achieving high quality education for all, including people with disabilities, as well as to developing inclusive, peaceful and fair societies. In this process, universities have a very important role. Social sensitivity and responsibility are an important task of universities, which through their actions can ensure that society is more open, fairer and more inclusive. By establishing and supporting the work of the Office for Student Support (UPS!), The University of Sarajevo ensures the realization of its vision and mission in this way as well. The main activity of the Office is aimed at providing support to students and developing inclusive culture, policies and practices in the field of higher education.
