For fifteen years, the Days of BHAAAS have been a substantial, high-quality, and successful conference.
Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences was founded in Charlotte, North Carolina, on November 3, 2007.
We are thrilled to announce that the 16th Days of BHAAAS (Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences) will take place from June 19 to June 22, 2025, in Sarajevo at Hotel Hills. This prestigious event will feature a diverse range of medical symposia, providing an invaluable opportunity for professionals, researchers, and students to engage, share knowledge, and explore advancements in the medical field.
Mostar will host the continuation of a series of workshops in early 2025, announcing the 16th Annual Days of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences (BHAAAS) in Sarajevo, scheduled for June 19–23 of that year.
Adnan Begović, a specialist in intensive care and pulmonary diseases, professor of medicine at the University of California San Diego (UCSD), and a visiting professor at the Faculty of Medicine in Sarajevo, is the new president of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences (BHAAAS).
Dr. Lejla Akšamija, a professor at the University of Utah School of Architecture, recipient of the prestigious title Distinguished Chair for Resilient Places, and a member of BHAAAS, delivered a lecture titled "Innovation in Architecture: Design, Methods, and Technologies for Innovative Practice" at the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Geodesy (AGGF) at the University of Banja Luka.
A member of BHAAAS, Namik Hrle from Banja Luka, Vice President of Development in IBM's Software Department and Director of the Development Laboratory in Germany, holder of 77 patents, will be one of the speakers at the 4th Future Leaders Summit (FLS), which will take place on December 13 and 14 in Sarajevo.

Merhemić, the first person from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) to achieve this prestigious level of membership, has been actively contributing to the development and promotion of the medical field for over 20 years. In addition to her work in BiH, she has made a significant impact as a visiting professor at foreign universities, sharing her extensive knowledge and experience with students and colleagues.
