The Mission of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences (BHAAAS) is to develop and advance the arts and sciences among the Bosnian-Herzegovinian diaspora and in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
BHAAAS aims to establish and strengthen links between Bosnian-Herzegovinian scientists, artists, and professionals in the diaspora and to build bridges of cooperation with Bosnia and Herzegovina and in the broader region by valuing the spirit of intellectual diversity and the free exchange of ideas. BHAAAS members contribute their knowledge and experience for the benefit of its members as well as the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its future generations. BHAAAS’ guiding principle is that knowledge is shareable wealth.
The Vision of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences (BHAAAS) is to become a leading network for professional and academic advancement of future generations of Bosnian-Herzegovinian-Americans, Bosnian-Herzegovinians and friends of Bosnia and Herzegovina throughout the world. BHAAAS members shall continue to combine their creativity, hard work, and hunger for knowledge with opportunities for professional growth, while remaining connected to, and influential in, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences was founded in Charlotte, North Carolina, on November 3, 2007.
