Eldin Karaiković MD, a top orthopedic and spinal surgeon, lecturer at the University of Illinois Chicago and SSST University in Sarajevo, was mentioned recently in Becker’s Hospital Review (leading American medical journal) on the list of 50 spinal surgeons who “you should know in 2023”.
According to the Doximity registry, his scientific papers have been cited in over 1,400 publications by spinal surgery experts worldwide!
For years, Karaiković has volunteered to help in the development of spinal surgery and the professional training of younger colleagues from this area in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and performs numerous surgeries and consultations with patients in Bosnia and Herzegovina, without monetary compensation.
