Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences was founded in Charlotte, North Carolina, on November 3, 2007.

Panel Discussion Held During the 17th BHAAAS Days: Molecular Testing in Oncology – A Step Toward More Precise Diagnosis and Better Patient Treatment

As part of the 17th Days of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and in cooperation with BHAAAS partner ASA Institute, a panel discussion titled “Molecular Testing in Oncology: Shaping Diagnosis, Treatment, and Patient Outcomes” was held, focusing on one of the most important topics in modern oncology — the role of molecular testing in diagnostics, therapy selection, and improving treatment outcomes for oncology patients.

The Mechanical Engineering Symposium brought together experts, researchers and academic professionals from the field of mechanical engineering and modern engineering technologies at the 17th BHAAAS Days.

The symposium was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dino Dizdarević, DDM, PhD, and Dr. Amer Kubat, DDM.

Over the past 16 years, this event has brought together more than 1,000 participants from 30 countries through numerous symposiums, special events, and a dedicated student program.

BHAAAS Days are a platform for networking, unforgettable encounters, and the exchange of ideas between local and international experts from various fields of science and art.

After 16 successful conferences, BHAAAS proudly continues building bridges between the homeland and the world.

Mahira Tanović, MD, FACS, a plastic and reconstructive surgeon with more than twenty years of professional experience in New York. Carolyn Dorfman Dance presents Prologue: A Dance of Hope - The Story of Max Heller, a powerful fusion of dance, music, and theater. Featuring electroacoustic compositions by Sarajevo-born composer Svjetlana Bukvich and Bosnian singer Davor Ebner, this project is a cultural bridge between BiH and its US diaspora. Premiering in January 2025, it honors Heller’s legacy as a Holocaust survivor, immigrant, and trailblazing mayor who fought segregation in Greenville, South Carolina.
