This two-day event serves as a platform for young researchers and biology students to present their research results, innovative ideas, and modern approaches across various fields of biological sciences.

As part of the Knowledge Transfer of Experts from the Diaspora to Bosnia and Herzegovina Program, implemented by the Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina in partnership with BHAAAS, Dr. Dina Mehmedbegović-Smith, a BHAAAS member and Professor of Education and Applied Linguistics at University College London (UCL), visited Bosnia and Herzegovina in February 2026.
As part of the “Knowledge Transfer of Experts from the Diaspora to Bosnia and Herzegovina” program, implemented by the Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina through the Diaspora Sector, Professor Ajla Akšamija visited the Faculty of Architecture, University of Sarajevo, from March 9–13, 2026.
As part of the “Knowledge Transfer of Experts from the Diaspora to Bosnia and Herzegovina” program, implemented by the Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina in partnership with BHAAAS, Professor Zlatan Akšamija delivered a lecture at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics - University of Sarajevo (Physics department).
BHAAAS Days are the most important activity organized by the Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
Over the years, BHAAAS Days have grown into a respected international conference.
Over the past 16 years, this event has brought together more than 1,000 participants from 30 countries through numerous symposiums, special events, and a dedicated student program.
BHAAAS Days are a platform for networking, unforgettable encounters, and the exchange of ideas between local and international experts from various fields of science and art.
After 16 successful conferences, BHAAAS proudly continues building bridges between the homeland and the world.
