For sixteen years, the Days of BHAAAS have been a substantial, high-quality, and successful conference.

As part of the BHAAAS Student Program, the Mentorship Program 2025/2026 has been successfully completed. Through the program, 11 medical students from Bosnia and Herzegovina spent nine months learning with the support of experienced physicians, researchers, and BHAAAS members. The program was designed to enable students to complement the knowledge gained during their studies with practical and professional insights, develop research, clinical, and communication skills, and receive support in shaping their future academic and career paths.
As Prof. Babić participated in the Days of BHAAAS, the Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences (BHAAAS) is issuing this statement to clearly distance itself from and disassociate the Academy from the views and conduct attributed to him.
BHAAAS Days are the most important activity organized by the Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
Over the years, BHAAAS Days have grown into a respected international conference.
Over the past 16 years, this event has brought together more than 1,000 participants from 30 countries through numerous symposiums, special events, and a dedicated student program.
BHAAAS Days are a platform for networking, unforgettable encounters, and the exchange of ideas between local and international experts from various fields of science and art.
After 17 successful conferences, BHAAAS proudly continues building bridges between the homeland and the world.

Carolyn Dorfman Dance presents Prologue: A Dance of Hope - The Story of Max Heller, a powerful fusion of dance, music, and theater. Featuring electroacoustic compositions by Sarajevo-born composer Svjetlana Bukvich and Bosnian singer Davor Ebner, this project is a cultural bridge between BiH and its US diaspora. Premiering in January 2025, it honors Heller’s legacy as a Holocaust survivor, immigrant, and trailblazing mayor who fought segregation in Greenville, South Carolina.
