Following the successful completion of its Sustainability Programme at the 13th Days of BHAAAS in Sarajevo, the Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences is glad to announce its upcoming
International Symposium on Sustainable Urban Development 2023
It is our pleasure to invite all scientists, engineers, young researchers, and students from all over the world to take part in the BHAAAS symposium on Sustainable Urban Development at the 14th annual Days of BHAAAS 2023 in Tuzla. The symposium will provide insights into the latest research and interdisciplinary advances in sustainable development. At the same time, it will provide a venue for exchanging breakthrough ideas, establishing and strengthening collaborations between all relevant stakeholders- from academia, industry to policy makers and civic society. It will provide a platform for representatives of the international community, local government, field experts and the public to engage together in issues relevant to the sustainable development of the built environment and its socio-economic processes. This will be a unique opportunity for researchers, academics, scientists, students, and engineers to present their findings and publish their results.

Conference Proceedings: Papers that are accepted and presented during the symposium will be published in the Springer’s LNNS series and will be indexed in SCOPUS, INSPEC, WTI Frankfurt eG, zbMATH, SCImago, Google Scholar, Springerlink.
Peer review: Submitted papers must be original, unpublished, and not currently under review by any other journals or conferences. The review will be a double-blind process.
Paper formatting and submission: Full Papers must be formatted according to the Springer template. Please follow the instructions available at
