The Mission of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences (BHAAAS) is to develop and advance the arts and sciences among the Bosnian-Herzegovinian diaspora and in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Vision of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences (BHAAAS) is to become a leading network for professional and academic advancement of future generations of Bosnian-Herzegovinian-Americans, Bosnian-Herzegovinians and friends of Bosnia and Herzegovina throughout the world.
For fifteen years, the Days of BHAAAS have been a substantial, high-quality, and successful conference.

Dr. Lejla Akšamija, a professor at the University of Utah School of Architecture, recipient of the prestigious title Distinguished Chair for Resilient Places, and a member of BHAAAS, delivered a lecture titled "Innovation in Architecture: Design, Methods, and Technologies for Innovative Practice" at the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Geodesy (AGGF) at the University of Banja Luka.
As part of the mentoring program of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences (BHAAAS), a lecture by Dr. Ajla Akšamija, a renowned expert in the fields of architecture, sustainable design, and construction technologies, will be held. The lecture, titled "Innovations in Architecture: Design, Methods, and Technologies for Innovative Practices," will take place on December 9, 2024, at 3:30 PM in the main auditorium of the Faculty of Architecture in Banja Luka. This event is part of the USAID project Diaspora Invest.
A member of BHAAAS, Namik Hrle from Banja Luka, Vice President of Development in IBM's Software Department and Director of the Development Laboratory in Germany, holder of 77 patents, will be one of the speakers at the 4th Future Leaders Summit (FLS), which will take place on December 13 and 14 in Sarajevo.
The 16th Days of BHAAAS, scheduled to take place from June 19th to 22nd, 2025 in Sarajevo, will again include the International Symposium on Innovative and Interdisciplinary Applications of Advanced Technologies (IAT 2025).
