BHAAAS Humanities Arts and Social Science (HARTS) is pleased to announce a Call for Projects and papers to be presented at the 14th Days of BHAAAS Bosnian-Herzegovinian American Academy of Arts and Sciences in Tuzla on June 1-4, 2023. The accepted proposals will, in part or in whole, address the theme of the 13th Days of BHAAAS HARTS symposium:

“Creation and Sustainability: Processes and Transformations”
The theme of the HARTS symposium in 2023 is an increasingly significant topic capable of producing exchanges and cross-pollination of ideas across human disciplines, in a broad and diversified way.
For this occasion, a physical and/or virtual space will be offered for the presentation of papers and/or artistic or educational projects.
It should be noted that only projects already completed will be considered during the selection process.

Discussions: from 1pm – 2pm

Each 20-minute-long exposé can be delivered in English or Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian.
bA video recording of the symposium will be used for BHAAAS archives and in educational purposes only.
Presentations of selected projects will be organized in suitable public places for dissemination in Tuzla and will be available during the 14th BHAAAS Days.
If the session is also held online, the Zoom link will be available and announced one week in advance.
Submitted papers will be considered for publication as symposium proceedings in the HARTS journal published by The Museum of Literature & Performing Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Abstracts of proposals that will be submitted for evaluation by the selection committee must include the following elements:
1. Summary of the project or paper (up to 3000 characters), with title and technical requirements needed for project presentations;
2. Biography and/or CV available via online links, with contact information;
3. Up to three samples demonstrating the applicant’s work (including the proposed project) available via online links.
